1. Riding the Paiute ATV Trails

The Paiute ATV Trails are probably the most well-known thing to do in Marysvale. The Paiute Trails bring riders and outdoor enthusiasts from all over the world! There are over 1,500 miles of ATV trails winding through desert & mountains for riders to explore. So, bring your own toys or rent some here in Marysvale and get on the trails! Don’t have an ATV? 2. Brush up on your history!

Marysvale has a treasure trove of historical sites. From Miner’s Park to the Military Veteran’s Memorial Monument at Cottonwood Downs Park. There’s more historical sites just a short drive from town, like the Butch Cassidy Childhood Home, Fremont Indian Museum, etc.

3. Rafting the Sevier River

Marysvale and Piute County don’t really come to mind for water sports in Utah – but that makes it better! Piute County’s lakes aren’t usually crowded and offer a large are for different sports. Kayaking, canoeing, waterskiing, tubing, etc. are all great lake sport activities in the area. Our favorite spot is Piute Reservoir at Piute State Park, just 11 minutes from Marysvale and can be accessed by highway 89 and even the Paiute ATV Trail!

Fish for trout, bass, pike, and more at various lakes in the area; including Piute Reservoir at Piute State Park, Barney Lake, Puffer Lake, Otter Creek Reservoir, Fish Lake, & more. Fly fishing is also a popular activity in the area. The Sevier river, Clear creek, & Otter creek are just a few of the nearby streams & rivers.

7. Biking

Mountain biking and trail biking are both great activities in and around Marysvale. If you’re a trail biker, check out the Marysvale canyon bike trail. This trail follows the Sevier river as it winds through this beautiful canyon all the way to Joseph.
